| The "Berlin Cellharmonic" (was founded in 1994 with the intention of exploring the infinite potential of the cello-quartet, be it with classical, jazz, avantgarde or popular music. Though classically trained, their repertoire encompasses all genres from the early baroque to Michael Jackson. A goal of the ensemble is to demonstrate that many different types of music are possible within this combination of players. Classical music is as much part of their repertoire as modern, pop and light music. |
