| The members of the After Five String Quartet have each been playing for over 25 years and met while playing in the orchestra called The Georgia Philharmonic (which is made up of the former musicians of Orchestra Atlanta). It was during orchestra rehearsals in 1998 that they met and decided to form a quartet. Since each of them have "day jobs" that don't involve music, they decided to name the quartet "After Five". |
