Author Subject stacijones Registered User (10/5/00 12:02:11 pm) Reply self-taught cello My daughter is beginning Suzuki cello. I am attending with her. I am wondering if anyone else has tried to learn and teach themselves in a situation like this. Are there any tips for me? Bob Blais Registered User (10/5/00 5:19:27 pm) Reply Re: self-taught cello It is really hard to teach yourself. I would suggest seeing if the teacher would teach you as well. I have several parents who started at the same time as their kids, and who have become quite good! Adults tend to learn a bit more quickly than kids, but, alas, they tend to be more self-critical.
