Two
cellos and piano
Does anyone have a good suggestion
for a not-too-difficult piece for two cellos and piano? (I.e., some
tenor clef or treble clef is okay, but nothing too high or too
complicated or too fast.) Something for two other instruments that I
could transcribe for celli would work, also.

2-cello
repertoire
Vivaldi Concerto for 2 cellos.
(International publishes it.)
International publishes a
Handel Sonata for 2 cello and piano. Or, you could transcribe most
any trio sonata for the purpose.
Any baroque cello sonata
could be played with solo cello and bass cello with the piano
playing the harmonies. The second cello is merely doubling the L.H.
of the piano, though. Not very equal.
Menotti wrote a Sonata
for 2 cellos and piano, but that may be more difficult than what you
want. (I can't remember anything about the piece!)
