Posture peg
I just had a Posture Peg , a cut-down peg which one tunes with a key-like instrument, installed on my C string. It looks just like a regular peg, that has been beheaded. It has given me so much more room near my manly 17 inch neck, I am actually able to play much more comfortably, and now I can snuggle up to the fingerboard with my left ear like I see so many professionals do; my intonation can only get better.

One of the L.A. phil cellists had one when I went on 10/13

Does anyone have any else have experience, good or bad, on this great invention?
