Bloch

Does anyone know where I can buy the music for Ernest Bloch's "Baal Shem" for cello and piano?

Thanks!

Re: Bloch
The Carl Fischer edition, ed. Joseph Schuster, should be widely available..I got it at Frank Music in NY (http://www.frankmusiccompany.com)....you/ might need to reference under Nigun (from Baal Shem).
Love this piece and in my repertoire....

Re: Bloch
I have not seen a publication for the three pieces of "Baal Shem: three Pictures of Hassidic Life" other than for violin and piano. The first movement is entitled "Yidui (Contrition) and the last Simchas Torah (Rejoicing) The second movement "Nigun" (Improvisation) is however, available in an arrangement for cello and piano. You can get it at Frank Music at:

www.frankmusiccompany.com/

or at Pepper Music at: www.jwpepper.com/

Alternatively, you could get the violin music and transcribe all three movements for cello and piano.

Good luck,

Terry
