becoming a cellist...?!
How many of you are thinking of
becoming a cellist or a musician?
When did you decide to
become a musician or not? Where do you want to study?
Just
wondring!
I do not think I will become a cellist, perhaps a
cello teacher. I love music and I love playing the cello and I think
it always will be important to me! Well, I still have plenty of time
to decide what I want study and work as, so I might end up as a
musician, who knows. Never say never...

becoming a musician...
Hi Herdis !! I think this is
going to be a very interesting discussion . As for
myself : I'm definitely going to continue with music, but I'm not
sure whether that will be at a conservatorium or not. I guess I'd
like to follow another interesting study (in parttime) to be sure of
a wellpayed job for 2/3 days a week later and spending the other
days making music, giving concerts and eventually teaching. And
what about the others ??? xxx Martine.

Great
question!
Herdis, First off, great
question! I don't see many worth responding to, but this one is! I
am 14 and the only thing I want to do is be a cellist. I have loved
playing for about a year (before that it was sooo boring). I just
recently determined that I want to spend the rest of my life with
music. I pray that my feelings right now won't change. I don't
know where I want to go to college (conservatory vs. university) and
my parents don't know that I want to make my passion my career. If
they did they'd freak! So, I just won't tell them till I have to.
Well, I have to go! Keep up the good questions!
