Anyone has experiences with midi cellos? Coming from classical cello playing I'd like to make some new experiences with electronic music. Until now I only had problems with microphone amplifying or pickups. Does anybody know a violin maker dealing with midi cellos or a musician who plays a midi cello?

Take a look at Eric Friedlander's site. He has a lot of information there about electric cello. Not so sure on midi though.
