Yo-Yo Ma will perform the Elliot Carter cello concerto with the CSO 9/27-29. The link is here:

If I'm not mistaken (I could be) the Carter is a premier. We haven't heard it yet.
I'm pretty sure I won't like it, however. (I'm a real musical bigot!)

It is the premier of the Concerto. If I were free, I'd come hear one of the concerts. When do you play it in NY?

I think it's like the 19th or 20th of October, but I'm not sure.
