Gift
Ideas
My boyfriend is graduating this
Thursday with a music education degree and I've been racking my
brain for gift ideas and I can't think of anything. Can anybody help
me think of anything that a new music teacher would need? I was
thinking something like a baton or something like that, but he's
already got one. Any suggestions would be REALLY appreciated.

I don't know how much you want to
spend but essential to a music teacher is a portable CD player - a
definite plus would be if it had a tape deck and a mike.

What type of music does he plan to
teach?
Ideas:
Music notation software
Korg Tuner: they
have one for educators that hangs on a wall like a framed picture,
and picks up at tone from anywhere in the room.

How about a minidisc recorder? You
can find great deals on them these days.
