coming on Wednsday.....but I wish I could just fall unconsious and
wake up when it comes. Just thought I'd share.

Well, If you don't post for the next two weeks, you wont be able to
tell me how the instrument is!! I am interested in purchasing from
stringworks myself, I'd love to hear about how it is! If you could
tell me if there were any complications.. or if the whole process
was awesome.. Thanx! Ace11ist

Re: I just

I am very excited about this cello that I will be receiving on
Wednsday. I've been studying Stringworks for over a month now,
reading about them everywhere. Quite frankly, I think they're great.
I'll tell you how the cello sounds when I get it!

Please do tell
us!!!
My little sister has said that she might want to learn to play
violin, and I was looking at StringWorks as a company to refer my
parents to, if they decide to let her give it a try. (and if she
doesn't like it, they can easily upgrade to a larger size, and give
it to me! I'd kind of like to dabble with violin).

P.S. You DO know that the founder of
StringWorks is the moderator of our very own I&E board here at
the ICS, don't you? Just in case the service is bad or the
instrument is damaged when it comes in, etc.

I
will....wednsday
Well, all I can say for now is that the help was great. Todd
answered all my questions within a few hours, and Pat at the sales
office was really helpful. Besides, if you don't like it you can
return it within 14 days, although shipping and hamdling is costly.
My S&H cost $40, and I live in Illinois! (Their office is in
Wisconsin.)
My cello hasn't arrived yet, and I can hardly
wait!

well, have fun when you do get it! And if it takes you a few days
to come back to us here at the ICS, I'll just assume that it's far
too difficult to tear yourself away from the new instrument.

Done.
Well, I've just finished trying out my cello, and I am impressed.
The tone of the cello is awesome! The pictures on the website can't
show how great the cello looks. Unfortunatly, the cello came with
one small scratch about 1 mm long on the purfling, but I really
don't care, 'cause I'm not letting it out of my sight. There was
only one minor complication, and that was because I had my cello
sent by UPS, and the bow sent by priority mail. (They arrived at
different times.) I compared the cello with a few cellos I tried out
at a music store that I went to a week ago, and I like my cello
better than alot of the cellos in the $2,500+ range. Good luck on
your cello/violin hunt!

Thank you ever
so much!
Sounds great! I might be getting a new cello around the end of this
next school year for a senior present, and I'll keep StringWorks in
mind. My sister got a car for her present, but I already got a new
car (and am paying for most of it myself, as is my sister for hers)
so hopefully I can talk them into a cello!
Glad you are happy
with it.
