Using Industrial Strenght Lubricants
My tuning keys are getting really hard to turn. With an important audition coming up this week I really want to make sure that they turn easily and on command especially when it counts. So my question is, What can I put on the little buggers to turn easily?

Thanks so much.
Andy

ps. I posted this on the other board, sorry if this has been redundant.

Peg dope, or pencil lead if you don't have access to a music store that has peg dope. Apply liberally, and you should be good to go!

I am confused by your post. Are you referring to the fine-tuners on the tailpiece or to the wooden tuning pegs?
