I am based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. I teach all Orchestral Strings: Cello, Violin, Viola, and Double Bass to private pupils. I am also on the approved list of instrumental teachers at the University of Durham. In addition to the above I teach Theory of Music as I believe it to be an integral part of becoming a musician. I am a member of the Orchestra of Square Chapel, Halifax, West Yorkshire. I also play in the Valley Sinfonia in Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine country), and am Cellist in the Artemis Trio.

I started playing the cello at 5 and studied with Caroline Bosanquet and Eileen Croxford (at the Royal College of Music). I freelanced for about 10 years with various orchestras in the North-West, eg Halle, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Manchester Camerata. I now teach cello and piano and have a background duo with a Danish pianist- Per Nielsen. We play for weddings, conferences, parties etc and play a wide variety of music from classical, light folk and jazz.
