[Picture] Yigal Tuneh was Born in Tel-Aviv. He is a graduate of the Rubin Music Academy in Tel-Aviv, where he studied with professors R. Shevelov and P. Bondarenko. Since 1978 he has been the Primarius of the Israel String Quartet as wells as concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra since 1987. Tuneh performs as a soloist in Israel and abroad, and records chamber music with JOD Classics, and solo pieces with the Luxembourg European Soloists. His work includes teaching chamber music and masterclasses in international festivals.
