I ONCE THOUGHT THAT PLAYING THE CELLO WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE SOMETHING THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO DO, BUT SHORTLY AFTER I LEARNED THAT I WOULD BE GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL EARLY, I ALSO LEARNED THAT I WOULD NO LONGER HAVE A CELLO TO CONTINUE MY PASSION TO PLAY.

YOU SEE, MY PARENTS COULD NEVER AFFORD TO BUY ME A CELLO, SO I USED MY SCHOOL'S CELLO. I WAS CRUSHED. YOU NEVER REALIZE HOW MUCH OF A GIFT MUSIC IS UNTIL YOU LOSE IT.

I WAS MARRIED SHORTLY AFTER THAT. THE FOLLOWING DECEMBER MY HUSBAND AND MY FATHER TOOK ME TO GET MY FIRST CELLO, ONE THAT NO ONE COU LD TAKE AWAY FROM ME.

AS FOR ME, NOW, I HAVE CONTINUED MY PASTIME OF PLAYING WITH MY LOCAL SYMPHONY, AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.
