I have two comments:
One, I agree with DrCello -- no point in stressing out about all this.
But... I went to an ordinary high school and was bored out of my skull
by 11th grade. While I avoid situations where the stress is going to ruin my
pleasure in things (like music!) I have to tell you being bored is the
pits. Being INTERESTED makes what you are doing fun, while if you are
already bored with school, 4 more years of the same-old/same-old will be
excruciating. and the other students at the special high school will be
much more interesting too.
