Ok, I'm stumped... my bowhair never breaks or falls out. I might have broken a total of 8 hairs this year, and 6 of them were all at once, when I whacked something I wasn't s'posed to, with my bow. Maybe my bow re-hairer uses something other-worldly to hold it in there, I don't know.
I'm always piling on the rosin, but I can't seem to find any change in pattern.
Is there a default method of knowing?
About how often does bowhair wear out, with heavy use?
