Hello fellow cello players.
I am in a slight delema. I am inbetween teachers and colleges. It is summer time and i will not be able to go to a camp because of money, and instead of just working this summer i have planned a recital. The recital consists of the Schuman Fantasy pieces, the Bach 3 suite, and the Strauss sonata in f major. I want to have a concerto as well, but since i am inbetween teachers i don't know what to start. Should i jsut wait and maybe do etudes untill i get a or go ahead and start another concerto. I think it would be important to have something to audition for seating at the conservatory. The last concerto i worked on was the Dvorack first movement which was a little push for me. Any help would be good. Thanks
