The CWU "Rainier" Piano Trio

The CWU Trio makes regular tours of the Pacific Northwest, performing extensively throughout the state of Washington as well as Nevada and British Columbia. Concerts have included the Governor's Mansion, the Battelle Institute and the Wenatchee Friends of Music Series. The Trio has recently collaborated with violist Eric Shumsky, violinist Marcia Ott, violist Joyce Ramee and Philadelphia String Quartet members Alan Iglitzen and Irwin Eisenberg. At the 1991 American String Teachers Association National Convention, the Trio's performance of the Brahms Piano Trio in B Major was praised by ASTA president Robert Culver for its "great style, facility and admired depth of insight." In 1992 the Trio performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the Tacoma Young Artists Orchestra.
