Note: For any lists operated by "listserv", "listproc", "majordomo", or "mailbase" systems, the subscription procedure must be followed EXACTLY as shown (except, of course, ignoring the two-tab indents (which are only for easy legibility) and replacing "Your Name", or "Your@email.address.here" with the appropriate information), otherwise your request will be sent back to you because it does not meet the protocol.
If you are an Internet user, and you have problems reaching sites that end with "bitnet", try re-addressing through an internet-bitnet gateway. e.g. for the Klarinet list, instead of sending a message to:
listserv@vccscent.bitnet
send the message to:
listserv%vccscent.bitnet@vm1.mcgill.ca
(vm1.mcgill.ca is an internet-bitnet gateway that will allow internet email to be passed on to a bitnet site.)
If you do not see a list name here, then I do not know about one existing yet. Please don't email me asking if I know of a kazoo list (for example) because I don't. In co-operation with Dan Madura (to whom I am grateful for his allowing me to put this on his home page), I will update the list periodically as needed.
I am working on changing this directory over to HTML format. This will add features like direct email links to the subscription addresses, and will allow you to more easily move around the directory. This should be complete by mid May, 1995.
